Fibronol LLC was established in May, 2005 to test and bring to the fibromyalgia community a unique, natural marine-based product called SEANOL, which when formulated in various products holds the promise of improving the quality of life for fibromyalgia patients through nutrition management. SEANOL is a brown algae-based set of polyphenols and phlorotannins that has been developed over the past 14 years in Asia with more than $35 million in private and government funding. Based on extensive previous in-vitro, pre-clinical and clinical research, SEANOL was expected to have significant efficacy in helping to improve the quality of life for individuals with fibromyalgia (“FM”). Clinical trials conducted with fibromyalgia patients in the summer and fall of 2005 confirmed these expectations to be true.
In January of 2007, Fibronol LLC was merged into its parent organization, JP Renew Distributors LLC to develop market opportunities for SEANOL-based products beyond the fibromyalgia market. JP Renew Distributors LLC currently offers two nutraceutical products, Fibronol® and FibroBoost®, to improve the quality of life both for FM patients and others. The primary ingredient in both products is SEANOL, a safe marine plant based polyphenol/phlorotannin extract that is both a powerful anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory. SEANOL is neither a pharmaceutical nor synthetic product but officially a "food" product. SEANOL provides strong health benefits for individuals by promoting healthy cardiovascular architecture, enhanced blood flows, and healthy blood sugar levels.
